- Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers.
- Prepare food following brand standard, specifications, and food safety expectations.
- Follow company safety and sanitation practices to ensure that the best product is available.
- Follow and enforce health department/FDA and other key safety regulations as it relates to food handling, storage and temperature of food (using the Smart Sense temperature monitoring program).
- Operate a cash register maintain an accurate and organized drawer.
- Follow Loves safety procedures while using a sharp knife, a food slicer, toaster, oven, fryers and other food preparation tools and appliances.
- Responsible for cleaning and regular maintenance on restaurant equipment.
- Remove and re-line trash cans, clean and wipe booths, chairs, tables, soda fountain and condiment station in the dining area.
- Perform weekly and monthly projects and assigned tasks.
- Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
- Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 6 months of food service and cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and operate a cashier register.
- Ability to learn and perform basic computer functions.
- Ability to learn and operate food service appliances.
- Ability to read and measure food and weight using a scale.
- Ability to perform basic math and count money.
- Ability to read and understand food temperature for safety.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic.
- Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
- Occasional light lifting not over 50lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons.
- Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

- While performing the duties, the employee may frequently be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, and human waste.
- No travel is expected for this position.
